One of the best things GSN’s new CEO David Goldhill has done is advertise the entire day’s schedule, not just an episode of High Stakes Poker a couple thousand times a day. With how low the ratings have been as of late, it’s not a bad idea to advertise the morning classics and late night programming. The writer’s strike has really hurt the late night industry, but luckily GSN’s late night lineup of new and classic shows obviously can’t be hurt by it. In hoping to cash in on this, they have created some very interesting ads. Take a look and tell me/them what you think. Late night is so much nicer without Playmania, isn’t it?

Just noticed it and we’re working on getting it working, thanks.
It’s amazing that I managed to find the one fucking format of video that Wordpress doesn’t read.

Works fine for me.
GSN sure has done a good job of capitalizing on the writers’ strike.

I love these ads, it almost takes a shot at the writer’s saying: We don’t need you when we can do this. (that being said I respect the writers and I hope to be one one day.)

I love the ad. It is really well done.
And I agree Alex, the network has been so peaceful since Playmania went off the air.

I’ve noticed the advertising in general for ALL of GSN’s programming has been very varied and full of notices for the entire day and night lineup. The “Weekends are More Fun” thing with all the giggling contestants and hosts highlight the variety on the weekend. The “Rayburn’s Eleven” and “Men of GSN” highlight the mornings. The “Four Hour Happy Hour” highlight the afternoon. They even do the “Midnight Flashback” highlighting the shows that air from midnight to 2AM. This is smart advertising and I’ve been very impressed!
I don’t miss “Playmania” one single iota. Well, except for conversing with Shandi on the phone while I would be in bed after midnight…

Um, actually, you CAN write this. Like all the material on Millionaire, that million-dollar question was written by a writer represented by the Writers Guild of America.
Change the word “can’t” to “can”, and this is great ad for the WGA.

The Sunday late night line up would’ve been “GSn Sunday nitro.” Would that be cool?
