Writer’s Strike is Over!

I’m at least happy about the news that the writer’s strike is basically over at this point.  I have to be honest, I’ve been missing some of my favorite shows like 30 Rock, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Scrubs, so this is a welcome return.  What does it hold for the future of game shows in primetime television?  If anything, I think it showed networks that game shows aren’t second hand citizens, and they are needed so I wouldn’t expect to see them completely disappear any time soon.  And truthfully, it’s about time for it to end.  I have unbelievable respect for Michael Davies, but once we get to shows like World’s Strongest Celebrity, I start to worry a bit.  As a fellow writer (not just this place), glad to see them back in action.
