“World Series of Pop Culture” Renewed
VH1′s hit show “World Series of Pop Culture,” produced by Michael Davies of Millionaire fame, is taping season 2 in March. If you can find 2 other people to be on a team with you, you can make an appointment for any of the following Regional Qualifier cities:
- New York City: January 19th – 21st
- Los Angeles: January 26th – 28th
- Chicago: February 2nd – 4th
- Austin: February 9th – 11th
- Orlando: February 16th – 18th
It is not known whether Pat Kiernan or Lisa Guerrero will be returning.
Any idea if they’ll have a team of “almost perfect strangers” (the 3 top scorers on an online qualifying quiz) like last time?
This is some great news! WSOPC is one of those shows that everyone can play along with! Pat better be back this time as well! He has that perfect game show voice and is the best newscaster in NYC… I hope that this ends up being something we see a lot more of in the future on VH1…
Marc, it seems like they will. On the VH1 page linked above, it says the producers will pick the winners of each city and ten of their choice. I assume that means that there will be some sort of online team as #16.
