“Win My Wage” Replaces “Deal or No Deal” This UK Summer

Remember the show Paycheck we discussed a while ago? Apparently the UK run is coming true. The show will replace Deal or No Deal on Channel4 when the season is over in the summer. Win My Wage is a 45-minute show which gives a contestant the opportunity to win the salary of one of eight panel members, ranging from a maggot farmer to an internet millionaire with incomes of between £3,500 and £100,000. No word on the Bravo US run, but it wasn’t announced during the upfronts so I wouldn’t be expecting it soon.

I wonder if this is just a temporary show to give their DoND a break, like what NBC seems to be doing with 1 vs. 100.

I have it on good authority that ‘Paycheck’ and ‘Win My Wage’ are two completely different shows. ‘Win My Wage’ is indeed running in the ‘Deal Or No Deal’ slot in the summer, whilst ‘Paycheck’ has been commissioned by FIVE to replace ‘In The Grid’…
