“Who Wants to be a Millionaire” Releases New Online Game

About time Who Wants to be a Millionaire gets a new game, isn’t it? They’ve been stuck with that old piece of crap game since the original ABC days. This new game is video based and lets you play against former contestants using their exact question stack. The game tests if you are as good as the people that have made it on the show; you also get the benefit of using all the lifelines at the point they did. The game does include videos straight from the show as well. I’ve played it a bit today, and it’s quite a bit of fun. Check it out here.

In addition, hot off of the success of GSN’s original Paris Hilton pop culture-infused game The Prison Life, GSN has launched a sequel, The Prison Life 2: Full Release. Really, this game is essentially the same thing, except you’re stamping shirts instead of license plates.

That is a pretty impressive new Millionaire game. It could get quite addictive.

The only thing I don’t like about the new game is that you can only play up to their level, and you have to take the same lifelines they did. That’s not really competing to see who could do the “stack” better.
