We were supplied with a small preview of next Tuesday’s Who Wants to be a Millionaire? which is up on YouTube now. Definitely take a look. Could he be The One? The clip does have a pretty decent spoiler about next week, but it’s exciting and doesn’t ruin the episode.

YES! I’m off February 24th, I’ll get to see it!

I smell something…they wouldn’t normally do this unless something really, really big happens…would they?
That $100K question was actually kinda easy…

That clip certainly got me excited!
I would say I’ll have my DVR set, but my DVR is always set to record WWTBAM anyway. :P

Booo, I am in Game Show hell (we don’t get any gameshows locally, no DonD daytime, no Millionaire, heck not even any Trivial Pursuit) We’re freakin lucky to still have J! and WOF.

Does anybody happen to know if this is the same Roger Storm from Jeopardy? If I remember correctly there was a Roger Storm in the Super Jeopardy tournament.

I was just thinking the same thing about him and Super Jeopardy. Sure looks like him by the picture in the J! Archive.

and according to the clip, he’ll be in really great shape- 3 questions left and 3 lifelines left (though ATA is a real crapshoot at the third tier, and we don’t know who the ATE is)

Seward purchased Alaska on that date.

I was at Roger Storm’s taping, and the ATE is Ashleigh Banfield IIRC. The show was taped back September. Definitely tune into the episode!

He’s definitely in excellent shape to be on $100k with three lifelines, but ATA is near-useless there and ATE is unpredictable. Lifelines are there to get you to the upper tier really – the mega winners are those who know the upper-tier questions once they get there. We’ll see how many Roger gets – let’s not forget Valleycrest have pulled a fake on us before, building up what turned out to be a $100,000 win. Given how many actual spoilers NBC and the like spew out, the fake spoiler is a fabulous tactic.

well remember, they teased THREE people, not just one- so we don’t know if this is the biggest of the three or not…

I think they did a good job not spoiling it for us (unlike a network that we won’t mention). I will be watching on Tuesday.
To Chris Parsley: You must be in a market with only 4 stations. No game shows? Are you kidding? Well, give me your address and I will send you Tuesday’s show (if he wins the million).

I don’t like that question. Wouldn’t that headline appear in newspapers the FOLLOWING day?

Roger Storm was my high school chemistry teacher. And yes, it’s the same one who was on Jeopardy a while back.
