Thanks to our good friends at GSNN for giving us the date for this. Remember when we announced “Wheel of Fortune”’s new Wild Card and updated Jackpot space rules about 15 years ago. Well, not that long, but for the first time, we link back to the old Buzzer.

WILD CARD AND NEW JACKPOT SPACE

According to the Sony site, the Wild Card is going to debut on October 23rd, which is this coming Monday. We’re also guessing that since the new Jackpot space will debut then, this is when the new rules for Jackpot will come into play. Check out the Wheel of Fortune website for official information. Again, this isn’t enough to make me want to watch the show more than once, but it’s an interesting change.

EDIT: Well this shows how much I watch “Wheel” and how smart I am.  Apparently the new rules are already into effect for the Jackpot space.  I’ve seen probably 2 or 3 episodes on the basis of being bored that evening and having a lousy episode of “Everybody Loves Raymond” on, and for some reason, I just never heard Pat say anything about this.  Sorry, it’s been a really long week.
