“Wheel of Fortune” Goes to Hawaii in November
Is anyone else having one of those days or two where you have time to do absolutely nothing but run around everywhere and have no time for yourself? That’s been Monday and Tuesday for me; sorry for the delay in writing. But there is some fun news for Wheel of Fortune fans at least. They will be airing their special Hawaii episodes in November during sweeps. 20 episodes will from Hawaii will be shown starting November 5th.
November 5th through the 7th and the 10th and 11th will all feature residents from Hawaii. It’s being staggered because of election day. November 12th through the 14th and the 17th and 18th is a special “Best Friends Week”. November 19th through the 21st and the 24th and 25th will again be episodes with contestants all from Hawaii. The final week of shows, “Second Honeymoon” week will air in February 2009. Saving it for another sweeps period. Wonder why?
I’m assuming they plan to air the 2nd Honeymoon week Valentine’s Day week (Feb 9th-13th)…I don’t think they’d hold another million dollar win that long- we probably would have heard something about it (since the on location weeks tend to have larger audiences, it’d be harder to keep it secret)…They likely will be holding the Sea World-taped shows (they tape in December) for May Sweeps, so the rest of the February shows might be regular studio shows.
Would make sense, David. And don’t be surprised if we hear that they gave away another million soon.
