Weekend Replay: Whose Line is it Anyway? Live
Last weekend saw Little Britain comedian, David Walliams attempt a 24 hour live marathon of appearing on panel/game shows, called 24 Hour Panel People. This was a fundraising attempt for Comic Relief as a build up for Red Nose Day this coming Friday (a UK telephon done every two years). Nearly 20 shows were produced and shown live via a web stream on the internet. The shows ranged from current ones such as Would I Lie to You? and 8 Out of 10 Cats to old favourites like What’s My Line?, Blankety Blank and The Generation Game. For David’s penultimate show, he was a member of the panel on the Channel 4/ABC improv comedy show, Whose Line is it Anyway? For nearly 13 shows, the original UK show came back on air early Sunday morning with Clive Anderson, Tony Slattery, Neil Mullarkey and Josie Lawrence returning to their roles.
The clip I have for you today features the first 13 minutes of the revival. The entire show (lasting nearly an hour) was done live at 9.30am (UK Time) on Sunday morning, with very few pickups needed for the 24 Hour Panel People highlights show. David Walliams has been on air for over 21 hours before attempting his first go on Whose Line?

That was so good I love whose line I hope they do more.
Unbelievably funny!
(Next person to reply must start with “V”. Just 24 more comments to complete the alphabet :)
Very well…David Walliams sucked ass in the “Party Quirks” game. Other than that, pretty good clip.
Wow, that was surprisingly good.
Xylophone music?
You haven’t even begun to see how great Improv can be.
Zero bad comments for the whole thing, since it was awesome from start to finish (the entire “Whose Line?” episode is on YouTube).
Anyone have something more to add?
Funny, I really didn’t think the thread would go this far…
Brilliant…Absolutely Brilliant. Great to see live telly.
Can it be too much to ask our dear poster if he has “Just a Minute” from 24-hour Panel People?
I only got what was shown from the highlights show on BBC earlier in the week. I can upload that some time next week but it would be a short 5 minute clip.
Dang, I was surprised how well it went, and hope a Brit-Revival of sorts is in stores similar to our spin-off/revival show here in the States.
