We’ve been featuring foreign editions of Deal or No Deal a lot because, well, they are just a lot better than ours. That is at least until the syndie version if it’s as good as people say it is. But I digress. Here’s a great clip from a recent edition of Australian Deal or No Deal.

on Aussie DOND can u switch the final 2 cases.

because if he was sure of himself, and it turned out that the woman had the $200 k, then he would have been the third jackpot winner on the Deals.

Still, a $100k deal is a lot of money. Very well done!

Of course, the Aussie version, much like the UK’s, is vastly superior and more exciting, IMHO, than NBC’s. I am having faith in the syndie version, however, but it really may not take much for me to call it a “major improvement,” given the many issues I, and many other fans, have with the show at its current stage…

Just watching this clip, I noticed as well, I realized I REALLY dig Aussie DoND’s think music *the one they play after the bank offers are made.*

Anyone know where I could find that catchy little tune? :)

See, this is why Million Dollar Wheel of Fortune is going under. Aussie DoND hasn’t lost its touch yet, and it’s been on for nearly five years, I think.

The $50,000 offer was a work of pure ’should have taken the last one’ genius - the prior offer was the mean rounded down, he still didn’t take it, the backup goes which sends the mean up… and he goes down. Loved that.

Of course he had to go to the mean again at the finish…

Ugh, I thought he was reckless. But that’s me. And we could probably do with some recklessness over here, at least to make a change…
