Wayne Brady Promoting “Let’s Make A Deal” on The Early Show
We plugged it yesterday, but CBS has uploaded a video of Wayne Brady promoting his revival of Let’s Make A Deal, starting October in daytime. Enjoy.

Not too shabby…but, why was the segment taken over by one of the hosts of "The Early Show"? IMO, Wayne should have stayed for both deals.
I was in the crowd, wearing a purple shirt and holding the orange sign behind the hosts.
A part of this reminded me of all the hubbub surrounding Drew Carey's taking over as host of The Price Is Right, but Wayne demonstrated more interest and excitement of hosting the show than I recall Drew ever displaying in any of his media publicity. The deal he made in the clip, albeit linear it was, has given me second thoughts about the show. Perhaps it will be better than I initially expected. Wayne seems to be displaying interest in the game, something you can only wish for with Drew Carey and the Price Is Right.
My gosh, Dave Price makes for a horrible game show host. I still can't believe this guy almost had host of The Price Is Right in his hand.
What a terrible segment…
As a TV producer, this is the kind of segment that would get me fired…
The anchors were clueless on the intro (producer problem), they had no idea when (or if) Wayne was coming into the shot (producer problem), they obviously scrambled to find prizes at the last minute (producer problem)…
How hard is it to get a couple of prizes in advance, get a tray and a gift-wrapped box for the hidden prize…or get a P.A. to snag a couple of props from the actual set
You can't blame Wayne for this one at all… this is all on CBS… America's "Fastest Growing" network… Ugh…
You know, CBS has been calling The Early Show "The Fastest Growing morning show" since 2002. When exactly will it stop growing?
I'm excited about the new LMAD, but concerned about it holding an audience's attention for a full hour…I couldn't watch more than a couple of episodes when GSN had marathons of the original version without losing interest
