Thanks to reader Chris for tipping us off to this a few days ago (sorry, things have been a bit busy). Ion, the old i and the old old PAX, are apparently letting people vote for shows which can air on the network, and one of the choices is shockingly the classic episodes of “Lingo”. If you’d like to vote and have a shot at seeing them, click here. Wonder if GSN ever considered picking them up, or are they afraid of having people find out that the new one, while it is pretty good and enjoyable, isn’t as good as the classic?

I Guess the reruns are fairly cheap (right down ion’s alley)

I have seen the current “Lingo” episodes on GSN because they are great. I would be surprised if ION aired the classic episodes of “Lingo” with Michael Reagan. I did see some clips of the classic version on Youtube and it was great. I did vote for that show and “Perfect Strangers”.

I’d laugh my ass off if it is just repeats of the GSN episodes and the person in charge of the poll just used some picture they found off the net.
