Video: “Price is Right” Offers Vintage Thunderbird
I’ve got a fun video as I search for something newsworthy to blather on about. I’ve talked about it on the rare occasions it’s happened in the past, but the most cool prizes The Price is Right have ever given away are the vintage cars. The show shocked many as it attempted to give another way on Wednesday’s show. The car is a 1955 restored Ford Thunderbird. Did the contestant manage to win? Take a look below. Just skip ahead a bit, but there are some funny moments first.
These classic cars are the few prizes, beyond the trips, that make my jaw drop.

Not usually into classic cars myself (though I do like TPIR giving them away, it adds to the variety/unexpectedness of the show wonderfully) but that was a beautiful car. Props, again, to the TPIR prize dept. :D
The little intro clip about Rich Fields was also funny too, and such 'tis be why I think the show hasn't been this good… since… sometime in a prior century…

Yeah, & the best part about this particular car, you don't have to know what the price is because Rich tells you so. I don't mind offering vintage cars on such games. It's when you throw those in theere that require your knowledge of the price that irks ne a bit. I'm not into classic cars myself, so it's nice to see the car being offered in Let 'Em Roll & not Pushover.
