Video Preview of ABC’s “Downfall”
ABC’s Downfall is quickly approaching its debut. You can first see it on June 22nd at 9:00PM ET. I had fears about how this would turn up because, really, the idea is incredibly strange. ABC updated the show’s website and posted a very small preview of it. I have to be honest…after seeing just this fifteen second clip I’m excited to see this now. They literally built a full game show set on top of a building. How cool is that? Not only that but the conveyor belt aspect looks to be incredibly terrifying as well. Check out the video below. What do you think? Am I alone in looking forward to this more now?
Not enough for me to judge. However, I do wish people would stop giving Scott Ferrall voiceover work.

See I was under the impression it was a Million Pound Drop clone… hmm, this could be interesting…

The set for this looks great. It looks fun, not like the high tension sets we get stuck with all the time lately.
The last time I heard Scott Ferral’s voice was on Battle Dome, some 10 or 11 years ago. Strangely I liked his chain-smoker-like voice back then, but it seemed to fit more into that kind of genre; A game show format, I’m not so sure
Not enough to tell here. But I expect I will be watching the premiere to see what it’s all about.
this show is awesome now i wish ABC didn’t gave the 6 episode order WE WANT MORE EPISODES
Grandma Promo – terrible. Funny acting though, which is great.
The following promo – Name 10 Classic Board Games – that was fantastic.
As far as the show is concerned, it is still playing off the “anti-game show” idea, with Scott Ferrall as announcer.
And the set looks like Hole in the Wall.
What the hell. What. The. Hell.
I’m having flashbacks to The Chair and The Chamber here, and that’s not a good thing…
The Board Game promo had an Aerosmith song in it. I’m game. :P
EDIT: I just noticed the grandma scene had the same song. Anyone know if “Livin’ on the Edge” is gonna be the theme song? That be awesome.
This might work, but these promos show nothing other than the logo. I guess I’m too much of a game guy to be satisfied by 2 second clips of actual gameplay(?), and the 30 second ad for “alli” didn’t help :P.
Anyways, I wanna know why the show didn’t do the obvious and put YOU on the end of the conveyer belt as the final punishment for losing XD
That actually happens if someone makes it to the final million-dollar round according to the press release..
