In case you are interested, here are some highlights from my show including the following.

Me finally getting an opportunity to answer and the freakout that occurred afterwards.

Me getting an answer wrong in the front row. (This turned out to be a blessing in disguise as the other man got it right and the next clue was the “Crossword Extra” where he lost all his money.)

Me freaking out when the game ended. (I would have preferred her including the question beforehand where everyone buzzed in and got it wrong. I was so relieved.)

Me doing the bonus round (A more muted freakout.)

http://youtube.com/watch?v=hI7PucegFTk

Here’s a bonus clip of me walking down the ramp acting like I own the place.

I would love to see a PS 2 Version of Deal Or No Deal. I would like to see Howie and the models have more dialogue in it. I also would love to see 1 VS 100, Millionaire with Meredith Viera with all of the lifelines including switch the question. While were on games I am surprised that I haven't seen a DVD Version of Wheel Of Fortune.

This is cool news, I have a PS2 and might buy a Merv Griffin's Crosswords PS2 Game, I have Family Feud and Wheel of Fortune for PS2 as well as Millionaire and Jeopardy for the original Playstation as well. A bit off topic, but I would love to see Playstation 2 versions made of some of the game shows that have DVD Games besides the ones that are already out. Also, there's no way i'd get a PS3, i'm more than happy with my PS2 and would not spend $300 bucks to get a PS3.

mtc32 - I'll be on the lookout for you on youTube since I can't watch tomorrow - "good luck" (As though luck could help something that's probably been taped for months!)

As far as video game versions go, I guess I didn't say this earlier, but I will now, before the fanboy comes out in everyone: Having the support of other companies to make video games of your show is good for your show, no matter what console it is we're talking about. As viewers, we can only hope that they market it for our system of choice. I think that when it comes to games like this, it's good for a game to be released across many platforms, and for the sake of the show's success, I hope that's what happens. And so that I can buy it :)

The Wii is subpar. Honestly, the games that they have for it are just "bleh". I have a PS3 (bought used for $299) and an xbox360. Honestly, I think that the 360 and PS3 are more interactive than the Wii (with their superior online features). Moving a sensor-remote doesn't heighten interactivity, it just makes it look like you're using a SmartBoard. Also, Guitar Hero is one of the worst games made. Ever. South Park nailed it with "Guitar Queer-o" (hilarious)

Can't wait for Crosswords to come to the 360 Marketplace.

Just want to let you all know that my episode will air on Thursday, December 6th. Look for the spoiler in the gray shirt. Assuming it doesn't get edited out, there is a definite youtube moment on this show.

Here, I can specify more.

I can stand old games like Pacman or Donkey Kong or Mario. I really don't like any of the new stuff beyond Guitar Hero, and that's just because I'm a guitar fan. I just really don't like video games in general; I don't know what it is. I just don't care for them anymore and I can think of many better uses for $50 per game, like three or four CDs.

Hm, as an avid video gamer and game show fan, I find it hard to believe that anyone could like B but not A. Not even a little, Alex?

Anyways, I'm excited to see game show games picking up steam again—after Gametek closed its doors there haven't been too many. Luckily, more and more casual gamers are playing these days, which helps solve a couple of Gametek's biggest problems: finding shelf space for games and selling them at too high of a price.

With Xbox 360, Crosswords is almost certain to be a title for Xbox Live Arcade, which is a direct-download service. I'd guess it will only cost 800 MS Points ($10 U.S.), which is pretty standard for a newly-developed title. They won't need shelf space, and it's an easily justified expenditure, assuming you already own the overpriced Xbox 360, heh.

PS2's staying power is an interesting phenomenon which can be credited to (blamed on?) two key factors: its huge install base, and the ease of porting titles from it to Wii, the modern day's sales juggernaut. So-called blockbuster games aren't faring as well on PS2 anymore since the typical crowd for them has moved on, but anything cheap still sells pretty good. Crosswords will certainly fall into this category, but will most likely cost $20 due to the shelf space and physical media requirement. How do you like that? It almost makes the Xbox 360 seem like a bargain.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see a version make its way down the pipeline for Wii Ware, Nintendo's stab at digital distribution which should launch sometime in 2008.
