Scott, Further - sorry to say it, but i don't care if there's 21 cases left or not.. if i'm told I can have $100,000 for hitting a button - I am doing it. I know I would be a "sucky contestant" But I'd be sucky with $100,000.

I agree with you stephen. I really think to improve primetime Deal they ought to give a contestant anywhere from 20-60 seconds to decide Deal Or No Deal. Maybe that's why i'm not a contestant on Deal because i would know within that time whether i would say Deal Or No Deal. Taking 40 minutes for a game is fine with me. I'm not sure if Deal will win back viewers which i would love to see. Most people got sick of the pace of the show. I'd love to see primetime Deal last longer but I keep feeling that this season or next season will be it's last.

back when Deal started, they would run through a game easily in 40 minutes. it was 2 episodes for 3 games. BUT Deal has gotten all mushy and feel good. So there's more banter with the contestant and less move. *shrug* I just wish it'd get a moving again.

The daytime version of Deal has got the gameplay right. One contestant in 30 minutes is reasonable. I think the primetime ought to have two contestants in an hour or at least one full and mostly through the second contestant's game. I can't wait to see the speed deal in primetime whenever that date is. It shouldn't take no longer than anywhere from 20-60 seconds to decide Deal Or No Deal. The syndicated version of Deal rocks though. The only thing in my book that keeps the primetime going are the models. I think the primetime should remove the supporters which has always been my biggest beef with the primetime version of Deal. I hope the syndicated version stays the way it is unless of course they decided to use 22 models instead of 22 contestants.

Ben, these changes are temporary, as the first run episodes this week were the first to be taped.

Hello.

This seems like a good topic to place this rule change I noticed on Daytime Deal or No Deal.

The episode I watched yesterday had only six bank offers, and the cases to open in each round were as follows:
5-5-4-3-2-1

Honestly, I think this is the most awesome thing they've done yet.. Using 'candy wrappers' for the cases!
