Just a quick update on the scheduling information for NBC’s hit game show “1 VS 100″. The show’s season finale (at least finale for a bit) will be next week, Friday, March 9th, at 8PM ET. Then, on Friday, March 16th, NBC apparently snuck in the previously unaired Grease episode of the show. In this episode, someone will get to play, and I’m not kidding, Double or Nothing. In a trivia game. Not “Deal or No Deal”. Scott St. John really needs to make sure this is the only time this ever happens. “1 VS 100″ is incredibly good, he doesn’t need to crap it up with things like this. Following that episode will be the series continuation of “Identity” at 9PM ET, with the rest of the new episodes airing at 8PM ET.
Also to warn you, NBC’s going to bore people to death by having two two-hour episodes of “Deal or No Deal” for two Mondays starting March 12. Watch out: on March 19th, it’s a $2,000,000 episode and Howie is going to pick a person off the street to play. Sadly this will probably be a lie because they seem to obsess about having the damn supporters on every episode. Not only that, it’s going to be Ladies Night and the case models will be replaced by men.
FYI, we recently did an interview with UK “Deal or No Deal” contestant Jonathan Bunney which will be up much later tonight or tomorrow; I’m going to see Reno 911 in a few.

I’m only going to watch to first minute just to hear Howie say, “Hello, uh, gentlemen.”

I would not call a two-hour DOND “boring” at all, but to each their own, I guess.

Ladies Night with male models seems a brilliant idea to me, even if it merely exposes how androcentric the whole ‘26 hot chicks’ deal really is.
Double or Nothing on 1 vs 100? Oh dear hell…
‘Which of these shows has not jumped the shark?
A: The one with 26 hot chicks
B: The one with 13 artificial labels
C: The one with 100 adversaries’
The answer is of course B, as it hasn’t pulled DoN yet. But with that $500,000 top prize, I honestly fear it might…

Bob Saget is all in the 1 VS 100 Mob - but before he presided over 1 VS 100, Saget directed the
feature short that spawned his stint as emcee of America’s Funniest Home Videos: the 1977 cult classic Through Adam’s Eyes. On Britain’s Channel Four Television, The National Lottery 1 VS 100 is hosted by Justin Timberlake/NickLachey lookalike Dermot O’Leary.
