This just in from MediaGuardian: On Christmas Day and Boxing Day, Channel4’s smash hit “Deal or No Deal” will be raising its top prize to £500,000 in hopes to take down the Christmas season ratings winner BBC. The £15,000 box will be removed and everything else will be pushed down one for the new board. For those a bit slow, here will be the new board for these two primetime shows.
1p £1,000
10p £3,000
50p £5,000
£1 £10,000
£5 £20,000
£10 £35,000
£50 £50,000
£100 £75,000
£250 £100,000
£500 £250,000
£750 £500,000
Note that £35,000 moves out of the Power 5. The lowest of the Power 5 is now £50,000. Also note that is only for two primetime episodes on Channel4 on Christmas and Boxing Day (quite fitting, eh?). There will also be the regular daytime episodes on these days.

Now that’s awesome! I love Deal or No Deal in the UK. Should be two great games.
