And I’m willing to bet that there’s going to be real pressure to No Deal for this contestant, even more than usual. Five names are mentioned in the press release; only one of them Dealt, and that was Bunney who took some huge gambles earlier in the game. There is specific mention of ‘courageous players’ too. I cannot see how this leads to anything other than contestants offering advice to No Deal. That’s what happened to Lucy - two reckless ex-contestants offered advice, she turned down an offer that was very generous indeed, and it backfired. Ironically Lucy’s going to be there for #500. Her advice is going to be very very interesting.

Game show winnings are untaxed in the UK?!?!? I may have to go to London sometime and get on a game show there!

Now first of all, I think a $10,000,000 game would be a great thing if it were done just one time, or once a season. You’ve got the potential for records to be shattered across the board!

Second, don’t tell me you forgot about the fact that UK DoND has done 500,000K games before (Christmas 2006), don’t act as if you haven’t seen it before.

Third, Power of 10 could very well be a surprise hit, think about it.

US-style DoND in the UK? It’d be effectively the equivalent of a tax-free Double Deal game. Yes really. (£1 = $2, near enough, and UK game show winnings aren’t taxed.) Add to that the fact that we’re still somewhat more cautious than the US generally (except the ones that actually get onto DoND aren’t…) and you have a recipe for an early Deal. Heck, I know I’d be gone early with the right board, as I’d probably take the first six-figure offer I got.

If they post it on youtube, they better have the entire episode and not just the last 10 minutes for this is a milestone episode for them.

Shoot, I’m imagining what will happen with the US Deal’s 200th. Ten-fold DEAL? Where one case contains $10,000,000 all the way down to a dime… heh heh. That’ll probably be the final episode.
