I’m really jealous of the British now. BBC is now casting for their two new game shows “Identity” and “Dirty Rotten Cheater”. “Identity” is the hit NBC show that comes back tomorrow night at 9PM ET, following the season finale of “1 VS 100″. And then we have “Dirty Rotten Cheater” which was an amazing show with great prizes but stuck on old shitty PAX. Comedian Brian Conley hosts the game of bluffs, lies, and deception. Hopefully we’ll get the latter on BBC America, because I really miss “Dirty Rotten Cheater”.

I’d have called Identity for Channel 4 to be honest, but BBC could do it well. And thank goodness it’s not on ITV1.
I might try out for Identity… I think I’d be more likely to be one of the strangers than a contestant. I’m not good at reading people, but I’d like to think I’d be an interesting stranger.
(For what it’s worth, I call a £50k top prize and an early evening Saturday timeslot for Identity. I severely hope they don’t throw it to the dead zone of 7pm on a weeknight against Emmerdale. The soaps dominate the 7pm hour here more than Wheel and J! dominate the 7pm hour in the US.)

I actually agree that 4 probably would have been a better fit, but the BBC could do well with it…I always thought it would be 100K tho…something like

The UK gets Dirty Rotten Cheater and we get stuck with Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader? What a raw deal. We need a DRC revival here.

Any bets on how many DoND UK values will make it into the Identity tree?
I’ll start the higher/lower bidding on 8.5.

Not sure of a start date, but the casting information is somewhere on the BBC website.

In Italy we had Dirty Rotten Cheater a few years ago and it was a blast!
People liked it because this time somebody was SUPPOSED to be cheating.

If this DRC’s so good, where can I see an online/www video of one of the old US shows?
