The amount of disgust of 1 VS 100’s shelving/cancellation is stunning and nice to see. It doesn’t come from just game show fans. It’s coming from regular TV viewers as I browse blogs, forums, and other places. However, it may not be completely done, along with The Singing Bee. Ben Silverman has apparently stated that they aren’t scheduled right now but they could return. Honestly I’d be shocked to see The Singing Bee back during the Fall because of how magnificently it bombed, but the fact that they renewed far lower rated shows than 1 VS 100 that cost a lot more to make is a bit strange. I can definitely see it coming back once some of their Fall/Winter shows fail. We’ll keep you updated. Keep commenting/emailing/writing NBC to keep 1 VS 100 alive. If you want to see it back, they need to know how the fans feel.

I’d love to see 1 vs 100 back. But I wasn’t thrilled with the last season. The “celebrity” mob members blew. Geeks and bimbos from crappy reality shows do not celebrities make!
And though I didn’t have a problem with the latest money tree, the questions were WAY too easy. I really liked the clever turnabout the questions used to have, where you thought the questions were taking you in one direction but the multiple-choice answers did a 180. Those were fun. Why do network suits have a problem with making players and viewers think?
But if Benny is keeping this show in his back pocket…we’ll see it again. NBC’s fall schedule is mighty weak. With DoND on 5-days-a-week in the fall, do we really need two nights of it, too?
