Hey Feud fans…from the staff and show…. We really appreciate your support for the Halloween specials this week. We had a blast making them and glad you enjoy them.

A lot of the stuff on stage we collected from our parents so it proves you can put on a fun show without breaking the budget.

Thanks for filling me in on this one devares – I haven’t been a regular “Feud” watcher since Richard Dawson’s first version left the air in 1985.

As for Rich Fields getting more camera time, you got to thank Drew Carey for this one, as Barker didn’t want anyone to upstage him when he was one the show. The reason Rod Roddy’s appearances were taken away wasn’t because of Fremantle – it was because Rod had the ‘gall’ to have his agent ask Barker if he and the models would get the same rate of pay on future million dollar specials as they did on the first one, and sadly, Rod learned that NOBODY dares to upstage the Barker, and when Barker visited Rod in his hospital room, he cringed every time he came, so when ‘the illustrious one’ passed in 2003, he died an angry man because of what Barker did to him by taking away his camera time! Boo to you, Barker!

Man, this is another reason that I miss the feud in Toronto!

Seeing “Papa Bear” John and “baby bear”William was adorable and to see Burton Richardson on screen again is a win!

The next gen of announcers are finally getting their time on Camera.

It is nice, isn’t it, julia? It’s nice to also see Rich Fields on the Price Is Right (is it just me or does he look like Ricky Ricardo from I Love Lucy?). I do remember seeing Burton on one episode of Arsenio, I thought he was Jermaine Jackson. YRC, julia, but it wasn’t when he was subbing for Rod, it was when he was subbing for Rich when he had laringitis.

It’s always nice to see announcers on TV. Actually, I remember hearing him on Arsenio, but don’t remember seeing him. I so remember seeing him on TTTT ’90 and he got a little face time on TPiR when he subbed for Rod, IIRC.

DENo1MatchGameFan, you’re about a year too late yourself. They did this last year.IIR, one of the families dressed like Elmer Fudd (they won all that week). As for the show, the set looks better than last year’s. And I thought I was the only one that remembered Burton Richardson as for saying “It’s Arseniooooooooooooooooooooooo Hall”. Great memory, captparis1.

“Family Feud” is about 18 years late on this one, as “Match Game” did the same in 1990, with Brett Somers and Charles Nelson Reilly dressed up in costumes as well as host Ross Shaffer, the other celebrities, and even the contestants. The set was also made up great as well – hard to believe that it took this long for “Feud” to figure this idea out!

That was cool.
Nice to see, the producers took a cue from Drew’s Price and put long time annoucer Burton Richardson on camera for once. The first time I’ve seen him sice he introduced Arsenio Hall.
They could have got John and his cute but, lost looking son, better costumes though. John’s wife was wholesome and hot.
