The Room Live Presents New Internet Game Show “Celebrity Liar”

Internet game shows have come and gone rapidly over the past few years.  It tends to be because they are all pretty bland and don’t break out of the mold much.  The Room Live, which is an interactive live streaming studio in Hollywood, has changed things up a bit and started a new net game show called Celebrity Liar.  We’ve talked a bit about the new Mark Burnett pilot for ABC Trust Me, I’m A Game Show Host.  I think the people at The Room Live beat them to the punch.

The show’s as simple as can be, and very fun and interactive.  The host, Andrew Hill Newman, picks a topic for two celebrities to tell a story about.  And these aren’t the usual expanded cable celebrities.  There are some actual good celebrities in here.  You can see stories from people like Helen Hunt, Kevin Pollak, Hank Azaria, Matthew Perry, Annie Duke, and more.  Anyway, the two celebrities tell a story about the topic.  The catch is one is telling the truth and one is lying.

The interactive part comes in Tuesdays at 11:00PM ET.  People can enter the chat room and with the help of co-host Louise Roe can play along and determine who the Celebrity Liar actually is.  Louise announces who they think, and the real liar will stand up.  It’s got its roots in classic game shows which can be seen instantly, and it’s taken these online video game shows to another level.  Keep checking out The Room Live for more, it’s good fun.
