“The Power of 10″ Top Prize

Michael Davies is doing a new show for CBS called “The Power of 10″ which we briefly mentioned a bit ago. No official announcement about the show has been made (so it may still be scrapped; don’t get angry at us), but we’re getting reports that they are looking away at giving a top prize of $10,000,000 if you win the game. Michael Davies to Scott St. John’s “Deal or No Deal”: Eat Me.

I’m calling the Miljoenenjacht endgame before it turned into DoND (yes, there was one). Basically seven questions with seven multiple choices for each. You start with $10 (well, it was 10 guilders in this version), and add a zero for each right answer.

That endgame didn’t scale too well with the introduction of the euro in 2002, though. That’s why the DoND endgame on Miljoenenjacht is for €5m, as that’s roughly 10m of the old guilders. Of course, you get far more frequent big winners with the DoND endgame.

I can’t wait to see this show. I wonder when it will be on.

    Ha! Good one Alex!

Anyway, If this show gets the “Go”, I think we will enjoy it, sounds like a very good concept.

Will this show suffer the same fate as the rich list?
