The Answer Is…. A Daily Challenge

Next Monday, June 4th, Jeopardy is debuting the Jeopardy! Google Daily Challenge, which takes a featured category from that day’s show and provides a clue to which the answer can be found through a Google search. Correct entries will then be put into a sweepstakes for a daily $100 prize or a grand prize of $25,000. A new challenge will be posted every weekday through July 13.

Great idea, but another great idea that us canucks are being left out on. :(

I signed up, but I think they’re giving away the wrong prize. What they SHOULD give away is a chance to appear on the show. I’ve tried out 5 times. passed the test 5 times, and so far no phone call. If I win, I’m gonna demand to be put on the show.

If you passed the test, you’ve proven you can answer the questions but where you hit the wall was the part of the audition process where they judge you on your personability factor. Even if you won theh little Google game, they would never blindly put anyone on the show without making sure they are a “watchable” contestant

I think pigs will fly before J! would give away an automatic appearance on the show to the winner of an Internet contest.

J! has a very loyal and traditional fanbase. That fanbase would raise holy heck if a contestant on a non-celebrity or non-TOC show appeared without going through the audition process.
