“That’s The Question” Season 2 starts September 10th

We already talked about it, but another quick announcement for a good show doesn’t hurt.  That’s The Question will start its second season on Monday, September 10th, at 7:30PM ET, replacing one of the airings of Camouflage.  The format will be the same and the host remains the same.  The new season should be taped in Los Angeles, but who knows how cheap they’ll be.  I was hoping for some changes, especially in the bonus, but hey, I’ll take another good game.  At least it’s sort of quizzy.  I would really love to see just one quiz show on the network, I really would.

Glad to hear, I’m just hoping against hope they up the budget. What I’d do is keep the main game the same, but play for cash: $10 per letter in round 1, $50 for solving the puzzle. Double the values in round 2. I would also redo the bonus round: They get 45 seconds for free, plus 1 second for every $100 earned in the maingame. Correctly solving the bonus puzzle earns $10000, Otherwise they receive $25 per letter revealed in the question. I see no reason why they can’t do this- They got no excuse seeing as they’re giving away $25,000 in Without Prejudice, not to mention around $7K per episode of Chain Reaction. I would like returning champions, but that’s a bit too much to ask; this is GSN were talking about.

I can’t say I don’t like ucb2912′s idea of improvement(it’s very well thought-out) but ever since I read the first notice of a 2nd season I had been thinking of my own.
    -First round-
    each letter: $5
    each question: $75
the loser at that point gets their money doubled

    -Second round-
    each letter: $15
    each question: $125
the leader at that point advances to bonus round

    -Bonus round-
7.5 seconds is multiplied by however many incre-
ments of $125 are in the contestant’s earnings to
make up the contestant’s speed round time limit
Bonus round pays $7,500 or $75 per correct answer
in speed round and letters revealed in final Q.
