“That’s The Question” Season 2 Set

One issue I have with some of GSN’s originals is the general lack of a decent set.  This can really mainly be blamed on a lack of big bucks like other networks have, but come on.  Chain Reaction looks like a copy of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? and Camouflage had the smallest set I’ve ever seen.  However, That’s The Question might go down as having the best and most useful set since Russian Roulette.  Take a look at some of these thumbnails.  Now that they have a good set and really good writers, I can’t see a reason why this season won’t be short of amazing.  Be on the lookout for the second season of GSN’s amazing That’s That Question on September 11th at 9PM ET on GSN.

A cool set. The best GSN has since Lingo.

  • John says:

The set looks better than the first season set.

WOW! Now this is more like it! This is kind of direction GSN needs to go in.

Any word on rule/prize/theme changes? Also, is there still no in-studio audience for this show?

i love scrolling marquees :D .. especially rounded ones..

so how about the theme song? .. i’m betting it won’t be catchy but rather one of those ambient ambiguous tunes we see on all the other GSN shows.. we’ll see :D

  • Joe Mello says:

I don’t know if this is good or bad or just because of the font, but it looks like something that could’ve been from like 1986 or something.

  • Mike says:

The scroll marquee looks weird without “THE COLBERT REPORT…” in red letters. :-P Other than that very minor quibble, I’m very impressed.

  • Brad says:

Wow. Nice set esp. for a budget show (this beats the set of more expensive new game shows coming soon such as crosswords imo). But hopefully in the second season they will finally proof read the questions. The spelling errors last season were very unprofessional.

  • JD Nole says:

Yes, just from the otherwise lame promos GSN has been running for TTQ Season 2…I can tell the set looks impressive. The scrolling marquee actually reminds me of the H2 years of Hollywood Squares latest run. Probably not going to have the joke scrolls that H2 had though.

Guess we’ll have to see if there’s a reason Bob is at a podium by himself (in another area code, it seems) rather than at the same table as the contestants like he was in the first run. Will there be a screen displaying questions, etc. between them?

  • JD Nole says:

Whoops, should have looked at these new pics that show him much closer before I posted. Was just going by the feel of the promos.

  • SEAN says:

Are you sure that bob is closer to the contestants?
    THAT’S THE QUESTION!

It’s better than Lingo’s set, but NO GSN SET will ever be as good as that of Russian Roulette.

And it appears they got a new logo too. One thing I never understood was why the actual name of the show never appeared anywhere in it, though…
