Stunt or No Stunt? Stunts for “Deal” in March

Sure, sweeps are over, but that doesn’t stop NBC’s “Deal or No Deal” by throwing in tons of twists and stunts, does it? On March 19th, it’s Ladies Night. The audience will be all women and the models will be firemen. As a guy, I’m slipping into a state of depression. Twin sisters Annie Hewlett and Aubrey Wentworth will be playing for a jackpot of $2,000,000. Also, Howie will go on the street later that episode and pick a contestant who never auditioned or thought about going on the show. In this case, he’s going to the mall and picking Michelle Kearney, who is working behind a food counter at the time. She plays for $1,000,000, but you at home can play for $50,000 during the Lucky Case game.

How long until Bob Saget goes into a theater and just shouts “YOU’RE ALL IN THE MOB!!!!” and takes them to “1 VS 100″, I wonder. I’m really hoping I didn’t give Scott St. John any ideas.

And correct me if I’m wrong Alex, but I believe this will also be the second season finale of DoND. Which is okay, I mean, it’s been a great second season, but I can tell Howie, and the show itself need a big break.

Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader “Stunts”-
Make actual 5th graders on the show
Get a 5th Grade Teacher on the show

    Identity-
People randomly scream in malls what they’re professions are
People Try And Guess Their Own Identity

    1 vs 100-
Bob Saget gets 100 people who were on Family Feud
A question about “Full House” will be asked.

I doubt they’ll air the season finale so soon. They had a lot of success last year airing a few episodes into the summer after other networks had already started re-runs. If I recall correctly, they even led the Neilsen ratings for a couple weeks.

    Intelligentfan777-

Reaches through Web portal and slaps Jordan Hass 7 ways to Sunday. :p

  • KP says:

Could this be their very own fakeout, with a break between March 19th and May sweeps, and then another short burst of shows in May that might do better as the viewers might start wanting more, and then a season finale against nothing but reruns?

Actually that wouldn’t be a dumb move.

  • Oh, my! Een Tegen 100 is the original 1 Vs. 100 – originating from the Netherlands. There is an
all-new video clip from last week’s 1 Vs. 100 at http://www.youtube.com/1vs100, so post some
footage to a friend, and let the trivia games begin.

  • Jason says:

and on March 23, there will be the second annual “Miss USA” edition with 26 cases held by 26 different Miss USA candidates for 2007.

  • Jason says:

…well it will air prior to Miss USA 2007 of course.

  • Intelligentfan777 says:

Wait Jason, are you sure about that? Where did you here it…Futon Critic? If not, then where?

  • Joe Capitano says:

As of right now, Futon Critic does not show such an episode on their Showatch list (at least not for the current season), and they usually manage to get that info on their site days ahead of NBC’s own press site.

Critic does show an episode of “Identity” as running in the 8/7 pm hour before (Miss) USA, but no specific details – such as who’s playing the game. Perhaps some Miss USA delegates will be on the podia.

I think it would be rather dumb to resume that series only to pre-empt it one week later for a show that already airs twice a week.
