Thanks to reader Mark for pointing this out: what is quickly becoming (sadly) a cross between “Dancing With the Stars” and “Deal or No Deal”, “Show Me the Money” had it’s site debut on ABC. It’s very minimal, so all you’ll get to do is stare at a nice pair of legs and Shatner looking a tiny bit confused, or like he just had a sour piece of candy. And yes, astute readers of BuzzerBlog will notice that they are using the FOX logo, but with the title “Show Me The Money” instead of “Show Me What You Got”. Although, I do have to say, hearing Shatner asking dancers “Show Me What You Got” would be slightly funny. So guys, how do you think this game is going to go?

In the front game, the player selects a scroll and it may be added or subtracted from the player’s bank roll. If the player finishes in the black, he/she goes on to the main game. The rules of the main game are simple: answer a question right and you multiply what is on a scroll by your dollar total. Get a question wrong and you divide it. That’s at least how the British version goes, and I’ll imagine the US version stays the same. So, any opinions? We’ve been proven that a trivia show cannot last in today’s primetime game show era, but could this have the perfect balance of trivia and dumb luck?
