Every new season of NBC’s Deal or No Deal seems to bring some set changes of some kind.  While the new ones are relatively unnecessary (as hey have basically always been), they are still extremely cool.  First off, the floor and stairs have a new 1 VS 100 mob wall like effect.  Animations and other stuff is constantly going.  It’s a very nice effect.

As you can see from the pictures also, the Banker has a new office now.  Still there are is the desk and chairs and the monitors showing all the different cameras.  However, the rest of the office is all neon lit now.  It changes with the rest of the set.  Also, it blinks white and red when a call is coming in.  At least for the first episode, the models are wearing identical wigs along with the identical dresses.  Up until a little bit ago, a good deal of the international versions of the show did this.  I’m not really a fan of it but there you go.

The final change involves the big money amount board, which is a bit wider this season.  It’s now Howie’s new entrance area.  When the show starts, the board lifts up and Howie walks out from behind it.  It’s a very nice effect and about time they had some better dramatic entrance than the same old, “Hey, I’ve been standing here for a while already!” routine.  I’m not sure how many of these changes are being carried over to the daytime versions.  I saw the stair effects so I’m sure of that.  Beyond that, it’s up in the air until we get more video.  Speaking of video, a preview of the new season and all the new stuff will be up tomorrow so watch out.  Click on the thumbnails below to enlarge.
