Season Two of ABC’s “Wipeout” Begins Now!

Posted by Alex Davis On May - 27 - 2009

My favorite show of last summer, and probably my favorite show of the year, has finally come back for its second season.  ABC’s comedy and obstacle course show Wipeout is starting now, at 8:00PM ET, on ABC.  If you’re a fan and want to comment about the show, throw them in here.  Can’t wait to see what they have in store for us this summer.

  1. Andrew Jordan Said,

Well, time for the big balls to bounce.

I say that they should have the top prize at $100,000 though.

Let the whistling get stuck in your head again!
*One of the best themes as of late IMO*

In response to Andrew: $50,000 is fine enough. It’s a summer series and it’s all in good fun, so the prize money is fine.

I just love this show to be honest. It’s the right combination of silly and serious that makes it great. My brother and I were cracking up at almost everything at this show and that’s what matters in this world now. If it entertains and gets eyeballs, then it’ll last for a long time. Let’s hope Wipeout lasts for a few years.

This is one of the greatest shows on right now. I was watching it with some friends last night and we couldn’t stop laughing. I think its gonna be ultra difficult for them to pick a WipeOut Of The Season. Funny host, crazy contestants, awesome obstacals, THIS SHOW HAS EVERYTHING!!!!! 3 words…… Best…… Show….. Ever

  5. Ryan Mihalus Said,

You can say what you want, but watching people’s bodies bend awkwardly, or getting sucker punched, never gets quite old for the summer. Wipeout gave me a good laugh last night. It was one of those “Thanks, I needed that” shows.

    Awesome as usual

Also, this season is produced in high definition now too as a plus

  7. Mike Said,

$50,000 is fine, Andrew. I would guess most of the people who are on Wipeout are more than content with potentially winning $50,000.

  8. Greg Said,

I wish I had an HDTV. I hardly notice the difference.
