To dropzone5: In a one-hour version, you could have two heats of four players each, and have the two survivors showdown like the UK version did, with the winner playing the endgame for the star prize. It could work!

if you wanna go with a champion format, make the 250k a jackpot. The bonus round would add to the jackpot and each successive win reduces a drop zone. After each bonus round, give the option of guarunteed cash and the right to return or take the all or nothing one game of rr for the jackpot. That’ll make it more primetime appropriate.

GSN is on a roll! (Lingo cancellation notwithstanding) Russian Roulette is a GREAT show, it needs to be revived! The reruns are great, but boy, if GSN or some other network could revive it, we would have yet another great active game show on board! Keep it up GSN, don’t stop now!

@ Scott Meckley: How can you have eight players with only six drop zones? Hourlong formats in other countries use five players, FYI. Plus, if they used those dollar values, you’d lose some odd bucks if someone HAD to drop at the end of the round. Doubling what GSN used should work just fine, I think.

Great idea; but unless the network doesnt change it much from what u said, the show will be as bad as all the others out there. I think we should just stick with the reruns.

Russian Roulette is by far one of the best gameshows in the 2000’s. A revival in network television though would be really great because more people could see this great show than if it were revived on GSN because not everyone has GSN. How about a revival maybe on FOX or ABC should really look into this show. Up the top prize to $250,000 and have returning champs. If the network wanted to do an hour then you would have eight players instead of 4 although 30 minutes would be better. Start all players off with $500 and questions are worth $500 in round one, $1,000 in round two and $2,000 in round three. Then in the bonus round you could have 7 killer questions instead of 5 or 10 but the 7 killer questions 4 of them are multiple choice and three of them are brainteasers like from season 1. In the bonus round if you get all seven you win $25,000 and the right to turn that into $250,000 but if you don’t get all 7 you get $1,000 per correct answer and still get to come back next time and play Russian Roulette. I also like the ending to this show too with the phrase remember until next time watch your step.

That’s freakin’ sweet! I was hoping to see the show again sometime. When it aired originally, I lived in an area where GSN wasn’t offered (ya, can you imagine that!) Now, I live somewhere else and can’t wait to watch the show. I’ve only seen a couple of episodes.

I agree with the other WXman on this board… Ohio WX Man. I want to see re-runs of Friend of Foe too. Bring ‘em on!

This is great news - of course, I’d love to see new episodes. My one concern is the redebut date of April 1st… April Fool’s day??? I’m afraid this is someone’s idea of a joke! :) I’ll believe it when I see it.

Best GSN original, and possibly one of top shows of the 2000s!

Com’on, people falling down holes? It will never get old!!!

If the show does come back for another new run, I will definitely apply, seeing is that when the show was first on, I was under 18. Now in my 20s, bring on the drop zones!
