At first I thought they would mess it up by airing "special celebrity episodes" but I guess I was wrong

Here's a question: Why didn't Fox pick up The Cube? It's a good show, and it would've gotten the ratings in the post-American Idol timeslot. Who's running things at Fox?

Remember, FOX is the network that cancelled The Rich List after one episode and though Moment of Truth and Hole in the Wall was quality television.

The Cube would be a good companion to Wipeout, I think. As long as ABC behaves itself and doesn't go overboard like CBS did with Power of 10 and Million Dollar Password, they should be fine.

This is an outrage!

And people are already complaining about the idea of having the parents decide whether to stay or go on My Little Genius. If they go for it, and the kid fails, or if the parents stop, and it turns out the kid could have gotten the question right, how's that going to go over at the dinner table? Shows such as these and Wife Swap, with parents willing to exploit their children, are just reprehensible. That's what the families on Wife Swap or Trading Spouses have in common-the willingness to exploit their children to get on TV. Which is the lesser evil--the networks who feed us this rubbish, the public who gobble it up like swine, or the participants who have no idea what discretion is? And when they drag their children into such embarrassment, that is just shameful. Somebody call child services.

Anyway, please excuse my rant. The point is, nix My Little Genius and put on The Cube. They could even add the Krypton Factor, but PLEASE reinstate the Intelligence round, or Response, or even the Super Round. Only four rounds? Do they have to include every contestant's life story? Last time I checked there wasn't an Amusing Anecdote round. I know the 1990 junior version of Krypton Factor had only four rounds, but they didn't go into every contestant's personal detail.

Sorry if I keep going off on tangents, I just had to get it across. I hope you haven't gotten too agitated.

I'm really upset about two things #1. Fox scrapping the Cube, which is much better than Perfect 10, and #2 NBC wanting Perfect 10 and not the Cube. Is there any way I could persaude NBC to pick up the Cube instead?

All I can say is that Perfect 10 better not be complete crap, because apparently some lady making her bed in 60 seconds is the closest thing we have.

What made me hooked on "The Cube" were the slow motion camera effects, the simplicity of the set and the constant rotation of games to keep the lineup of episodes fresh.

I just don't want to see "Perfect 10" using what "The Cube" did to make it unique..."Can he pull that last corner of the sheet over the mattress?!? *slow motionnnnnnnnn*"
