Richard Karn’s “Family Feud” Officially Goes to GSN

I’ll make this short and sweet: GSN did officially acquire the Richard Karn edition of “Family Feud”. Refer to the previous post for further ranting.

BIG waste of money on GSN’s part, not only becuase they already have 2 really good versions of Feud in their regular lineup. a third is too much. this overexposure will hurt the others aswell

I guess it’s just me, but I’ve been oversaturated with Feud to the point where I can’t watch it anymore. I stopped watching the Dawson version long ago because of my growing contempt for him, and the Combs version was just awful. I actually rather liked Anderson, and Karn was good at first, though after he started playing the part of a 5-sentence vocabulary host, I completely lost interest. In my opinion, it would be best to just stop remaking Family Feud and for GSN to remove the show completely off of its schedule.

I thought Karn was okay. But he bugged the heck out of me by not repeating the questions more frequently. It’s just another show that GSN will replay over and over and…

Wikipedia says GSN is getting rights to Scrabble, Chuck Henry’s Now You See It, Sale of the Century and Classic Concentration etc, is that true?

GSN will never get Chuck Henry’s NYSI because Henry doesn’t want the show to be re-run due to in his mind, an em brassing performance.
Classic Concentration has a better chance at coming to GSN than Sale or Scrabble because that damn fremantle wants too much money for the tapes of Sale and Scrabble which are completely intact. Keep your fingers crossed though!
