Reminder: “World Series of Blackjack” Tonight at 11PM ET

Remember to set your TiVos, or better yet watch GSN, tonight at 11PM ET as GSN debuts the fourth season of the World Series of Blackjack. This season remains basically the same as last season in terms of rules. Matt Vasgersian returns to host this new season much to the joy of fans. Don’t know if you watched last season, but the two former hosts were pretty rough. Looks like we also have a new or updated set yet again. This season will also feature such celebrities as the now-canceled Identity host Penn Jillette (Watch his show Bullshit! on Showtime. It’s probably in the top 3 shows on TV), Celebrity Blackjack winner Caroline Rhea, and too-hot-for-her-own-good Shannon Elizabeth. Be sure to watch it tonight; WSoBJ is, quite simply, the best show GSN has currently and the best they’ve had in a very long time. It’s the sole surviving show since the rebranding and has created many knockoffs. Once you start being imitated, it’s a good thing. We’ll be trying to cover this new season as much as we can.

I’m glad Vasgersian is back. I hated those guys from last year.

Great episode. Alot better than last season. And with Matt, I actually understood what was happening. PLus, the cute girl was good.

Matt needs someone in the booth with him. Perhaps that’s just my presonal taste, but I think another presence will break up the monotony of his voice.

Was it just me or did this episode drag?

I don’t like the Knockout card, it just takes out some of the better players when they are just having an off day. Also it removes the big comeback.

in response to Joe GSN is probably just trying to save some money. Matt has become a semi-expert on the game so they must think he’ll be okay alone. albeit he doesn’t know enough to wipe out a casino.
