RECAP: Deal or No Deal (10/23/06)
And we start off with a brand new contestant today. She picks out case [ 8 ]. And off we go.
[14] $75
[12] $100
[23] $300
[ 5 ] $10
[ 7 ] $1
[19] $300,000
Aww, I was getting so excited.
[$19,000]
Quick No Deal. 5 to open:
[11] $25,000
[ 2 ] $500
[24] $400,000
[ 6 ] $50,000
[ 4 ] $10,000
Now we have two gaps on the right side. That may affect the offer here…
[$41,000]
After we meet “the girls,” a quick No Deal, and 4 more:
[10] $200
[21] $0.01
[18] $100,000

Another decent round. Offer should be around $70k.

Or higher. Another quick No Deal, and the next three:
[16] $750
[ 3 ] $1,000
[17] $500,000
Ouch. That might hurt.
[$162,000]
Wow, that seems awfully high. And she says No Deal! 2 this round.
[25] $400
[22] $200,000
That’s probably fine. Offer should go up slightly.
[$237,000]
That’s more than slightly. But it’s still under the average. No Deal, one at a time now.
[26] $1,000,000
OUCH. Offer’s going WAY down.

[$185,000]
Wow, that’s a LOT more. And she takes it!
[ DEAL ]
[$185,000]
Next pick…

Good girl! Nearly perfect game! What did her case have?

[21] $750
[14] $1

[$14,000]
Quick No Deal, and here’s where we start tomorrow.

If this show were truly evil, her ex-husband would have been sitting next to the banker.
So why did the banker react the way he did? As Noel Edmonds would indicate on the British DOND, Marco has “personalized” his game.
He’s donating 10% of his winnings to the Tomorrows Children’s Fund at Hackensack University Medical Center in honor of (18) Marisa Petroro who, according to nbc.com, is a survivor of a rare childhood cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. Marisa was quite touched by Marco’s gesture, seen tearing up at Marco made his plans known. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s sitting in with the accomplices Thursday night as this one plays out.
Considering her case history – she’s had over $19 Million in varying amounts since day 1 (more than anyone else), we really want to see Marco stick it to the Banker.
I’m predicting Marisa will be an accomplice, or she’ll be in the audience as a very interested spectator. And yes, it’d be awesome if Marco sticks it to the banker. *nods*
And I’d dare say virtually everyone who watched tonight could figure out what the banker is full of. ;)
I definitely want Marco to do well. A pity the million is already out of play for him though.
Marisa truly looked touched though and she probably will show up again at some point. Probably at the very least, talk to him at the end of his game to thank him or something.
