Ouch. $75k and $300k gone in the returning contestant’s first two picks tonight. He only has the $25k possibility now.

Says no deal to $4,000. Finds the $5 case. And now…. $5,000.
No deal, picks out case 22, and opens it himself. He finds $300.

Next offer: $7,000. No deal.

Picks case #6, which holds $1,000. Offer is now $9,000. He takes it.
And guess what he had? Yep, the $25,000.

We call this an Outright Banker Win.

BUT WAIT!! There’s more! The contestant gives Howie a fire helmet, apparently from September 11th. Did he save it just for him? Who knows.

Next contestant is Marty. He’s an exterminator for an airport. (Howie: “Does that mean you’re on the swat team?”) Picks case 5. His first six:

Banker gives an offer of $20,000. Contesant refuses, so five more cases.

Ouch. The offer’s taking a dive: $31,000. After the break, he no deals. So, three more for the bug man:

Well, that was almost good. $400,000 hurts, since he now only has a $75,000 safety net. I would have dealt at $42,000, but he didn’t. So, two more from the looney bin:

6: $750,000 [He's as good as dead now.]

New offer is $15,000. He takes it. So what did he have? Just a buck.

That is a Banker Win.

Another iffy round. But here comes the banker… Howie says it went up. It did… $16,001.

And that’s where we end. Somebody from Battle Creek, home of that one cereal company, wins the $10,000 tonight.
