Things aren’t looking good for Power of 10, and it’s time for CBS to step up and move it. In last night’s Power/Deal or No Deal showdown, Deal got more than six million viewers more and nearly 2 full points higher in the A18-49 demographic. It’s a really fun and great show; might we suggest moving it out of the way of the steamroller known as Deal or No Deal? American Gladiators is still going strong, but syndication was down a tiny bit except Millionaire.

I agree that CBS needs to move power of 10 to another slot as soon as possible, it’s a great show and I love Drew and I would hate for CBS to throw in the towel.

I hate that this show is on wed against DOND I think they should move the show to Tues night at around 8/7 central or 9/8 on Tues. I wouldn’t mind if they even moved this show to Thurs at 8/7 central. I don’t know if CBS reads this but please dont’ give up on this show this is a really good show. This is one of those games that I feel and I’ve said it before deserves a dvd and pc game. The game is a lot of fun. i like the best of 5 thing and the range for the questions although i wish the last question for 10 million had a 5 percent range rather than guessing from 11 percentages but all in all this game is really good and enjoyable to watch. I also wouldn’t mind a sunday run after 60 minutes and before Cold Case.

I also have to agree that “Power of 10″ has to be moved to another time slot. But if it got moved to Thursdays at 8 PM/7 PM central, it would go up against 5th Grader. I’m not so sure about moving to Sundays, but I think it could work better. If CBS doesn’t step up to the plate, then “Power of 10″ will become another summertime hit show that should have stayed airing in the summertime.

I’m actually seeing Po10’s original Tuesday timeslot having more potential then where it is right now, or anywhere else in primetime (just please, don’t put it up against 1vs100, or I’ll have to bust out my machete).
What saddens me is that, even with the extra exposure and acclaim (mostly) of Drew taking over TPIR, I thought Po10’s ratings had the potential to go even higher, outside of the incredibly engaging format and inspired water-cooler talk it can generate. It amazes me how well DoND is still doing, while Po10 is struggling against it, Duel not doing so hot, and NBC jerking 1vs100 around. Ugh, I need a cocktail…

Putting the show up against DoND is foolish, plain and simple. I personally will take Po10 over DoND any day, but clearly that’s not the sentiment of most casual viewers. There just aren’t enough game shows in prime time to have them going against each other.

The Power of 10 is a kick A** show and I really think that the show can get much more attention if they put it on Sundays at 8 PM after 60 Minutes and before Cold Case. It sure beats a tiresome Simpsons/KOTH which both went way past it’s prime. To Alex the webmaster, if you look at the B&C MGC blog, Ty and Program Partners have already renewed Crosswords and in a few months, they will start production on season 2. They just have not formally announced it yet.

Thats wierd local CBS affiliate that had been airing Crosswords is pulling it from the schedule effective Monday. Too bad temptation remains on the schedule.

What station is Crosswords airing in your area. In my area, KTXL FOX 40 in Sacramento recently dropped the 2nd run at 3:30 PM and now airs it as part of a 2 hr block that goes like this
10 AM Crosswords
10:30 AM Temptation
11/11:30 AM Family Feud
1 PM Divorce Court
2 PM Cristina’s Court (Former Feud slot)
3 PM The dreaded Steve Wilkos show (Xwords former slot with the 2nd run)
But by means the show is going to get a 2nd season despite the schedule changes. Now we just have to wait for the official announcement.

KMEG 14 in Sioux City was double airing Crosswords at 3 and 3:30 having it paired with a double run of Syndie Millionaire at 4-4:30p but now Judge Judy as of monday gets the 3 and 3:30 slots (Judge Judy coming from their sister station, the local FOX affiliate. The FOX station has already patched their 9a slot with the people’s court, so Crosswords isnt going there)

Crosswords is still going steady on my MyNetworkTV affiliate (WKBT-DT2), thank goodness. It’s the only thing I watch on there.
If all the networks get together, we can have a game show every night at 7p. :P I do think Sundays might work nice for Po10, they should do a special episode in that spot.

Maybe what CBS should do is have The Amazing Race and Power of 10 share the 8 PM Sunday slot. The current series of The Amazing Race will finish in a few episodes. Put Power of 10 in there starting in February through April, Race in May through July, etc.
Also, Steve Wilkos’ show is hardly dreaded. He’s doing a heckuva lot more good than Jerry Springer has. If you want dreaded, look at Springer or the baby daddy-fest Maury has turned into over the past half decade.

Seconding what Mike said. The Steve Wilkos Show is better than most of the crap they got on in the afternoon. At least he’s doing something right, the rest of these talk shows are garbage now.
As for the game show scene…I LOVE the Power of 10. Just love it, and I agree 100% that it should be moved out of the Deal or No Deal timeslot…though viewers who are looking for fewer gimmicks would change the channel from DoND to P10 in an instant.

The Power of 10 is a complete success! I really like the way Drew holds his own candle on that show. Steve Wilkos is probably the best show since he spun off from Springer (The lady guards who replaced Steve are really smokin’ but they hold short to Steve’s success BTW Springs Co-Executive Produces his show.) FOX 40 used to air it at 1 PM when the schedule used to be this
8 AM Andy Griffith
8:30 AM Degrassi: TNG
9-10 AM Judge Maria Lopez
10 AM Divorce Court
10:30 AM Cristina’s Court
11 AM Divorce Court
11:30 AM Temptation
12-1 PM Cops
1-2 STEVE WILKOS
2-3 Family Feud
3-4 MG’s Crosswords
4 PM TMZ
4:30 Malcolm
The 8-10 AM, 12-1 PM and 4-5 PM are still intact, but The 10-12 and 1-4 PM have changed as I posted above. But I also get steve out of My 53 out of Fresno at 10 AM, it really does not get that bad.
