Ratings Report: Week Three Not So Great
Ratings for the third week of the syndicated season are out and it wasn’t incredibly positive for anyone. The best anyone could do was stay level with week two, which is better than going down. The most devastating of the group was Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader. The show’s second week of new episodes tumbled a giant 31% to a .9 rating. A 31% drop is not good no matter how you spin it. It’ll need to pick up or who knows if we’ll see a third season.
The two shows we’re paying the most attention to recently, Family Feud and Who Wants to be a Millionaire, stuck in their third week with a 1.5 and 2.2, respectively. So it’s clear people are liking the changes and sticking with it now, so that’s good. The fourth week of Millionaire had some very big wins as more people are starting to enter the final four, so hopefully that’ll attract some people. Family Feud has had a few viral videos going huge around the internet so maybe that’ll attract a few eyes.
Wheel of Fortune stuck at a 6.4 and Jeopardy! was only down 2% to a 5.4, so that’s no worry.
The Hub also had an incredibly great debut, so good for them. Specifically, Family Game Night ignited some great gains. That show averaged 116,000 viewers age 6-11 and 267,000 viewers overall, so congratulations to the crew at Hasbro.

What about the syndie #s for Lyrics, Price, and Lets make a deal?
Only Lyrics is syndicated. TPiR and LMaD are CBS Network.
Lyrics started out with a 0.5, which is even lower than Temptation: the new, unimproved $otC had when cancelled in 2008.
Lyrics is now at a .8 rating share this week.
Lyrics kinda sucks i prefer the Wayne Brady Version on Fox only thing annoying was the fox announcer talking after every commercial break (Your not going to Believe Karen Response that had everyone Cracking up!) Same with 5th grader it started out pretty good on fox and just went down hill in syndication i hate the format and the 3 kids in the class.
I’m surprised that Millionaire is doing good that show is boring
