First off, don’t refer to MyNetworkTV simply as “MyNetwork”. Initialize it as MNTV. By the way, what stations in your area carry the current MNTV syndication block? The station that aired it in Memphis chose not to renew their deal in favor of full-time ION programming. Our CW affiliate has only picked up one MNTV show: “WWE Friday Night Smackdown”, except that they air it on Saturdays since there’s apparently no Saturday evening schedule for The CW, much less a movie. Anyway, I’m only able to catch “5th Grader” on our Fox station and CMT.

I think NBC did somewhat of a right but dumb decision to cancel DOND, It's kinda sad since they made the show very boring and tiresome but for 5th Grader (5 PM on CW) it's great and it's a good fomat and It'll be exciting since Lyrics will replace Deal not only on MNTV, but CBS which runs DOND at 6:30 PM weeknights. It's kinda ironic. I'll miss DoND, but I think the repeats will be either on GSN, Ion or FamilyNet. But for the others, I'm happy to see them stay on where it is. RIP DOND (2005-2010).

I will tell you something, in my neck of the woods, fifth grader is not shown in syndication so it benefits the areas that don't carry it in syndication like Montgomery, Alabama for instance. Plus, Lyrics! being on Mynetwork this fall along with VH1 will work out tremendously. For those that don't get lyrics in syndication

To Ben: It was officially cancelled Monday. Speaking of which:

There are a number of places to blame, like, for instance, NBC just stop caring about the show, not to mention the vast majority of stations that aired the show during the first season either dropped it or moved it to the late night hours, which usually means that it was evident that it was on its deathbed. As for 5th Grader, I think Fox is smart enough to do what it takes to make the show run for a long time, even up the prize money (which they should wait and see if it does well in Season 2). They did a good job with the show in primetime. It didn’t do any stunts or gimmicks like NBC did with Deal or No Deal, which basically killed it in primetime.
