^Amusingly Broadcasting and Cable doesn’t even bother with Deal or No Deal ratings anymore. It’s a goner. They aren’t good. Why bother?

Why bother? To see how far down it goes before it finally leaves the airwaves. I would guess that, when B&C stopped caring, they were around 0.8 -- now, though, it's likely 0.5...or far less.

It's not odd that they didn't show them during sweeps for a few reasons:
1) Anyone that watches "Wheel" knows Sweeps is always "on the road" episodes. They weren't gonna change it up just for a few wins when the people that watch the show are gonna watch anyway.
2) They're the only show, except "Jep!" and "Price" that actually air pretty much in order. The tape date they tell the audience the show will air pretty much is the truth and won't be changed. This can seen by the fact that there's been a few years of season premieres with no wins. Finally...
3) They're #1. They don't need to worry about sweeps at all right now! :D

Overall, nothing really surprising. And as far as Deal getting ignored, that's (wait for it) no deal (yes!!!). It would be a deal only if it's the extremely repeated episodes on GSN that aren't listed. Wheel has been crazy with the winnings this week, which is odd timing since sweeps usually take precedence, but again, it's no big deal.

It does strike me as odd that Wheel of Fortune didn't either. They had 3 $100,000+ winners in the last couple of weeks, not to mention the last 2 days (one couple winning a total of $100,000 on Monday, and one actually winning $100,000 in the bonus round last night). Can we play our hunch that there will be another one by the end of the week, or even the end of the month? Who knows? It also strikes me as odd that they're not even posting the ratings for Deal or No Deal. They're probably thinking that it's a goner in September so what's the point? As for the ratings, an off week for the genre but it'll get better.
