More Ratings for “Million Dollar Mind Game”; Watch the Latest Episode
More ratings for ABC’s Million Dollar Mind Game are coming in. The first batch, frankly and sadly, did just about what we expected though there were a few decent surprises in the mix. The figures for the October 30th episode are in and it stayed just about level compared to the previous week. The nice thing with all of this is that you’re probably going to find that the people watching are probably actual fans since you won’t be finding many passers-by at this hour. If they like it, they’ll be looking for it. I’d be looking for it on Sunday at 4:00PM ET on ABC for sure. The team is going for $600,000 and could win the million. You won’t want to miss it.
Here are the figures for October 30th, this time from The Voice of TV.
Los Angeles 0.3/1
Chicago 0.3/1
Dallas-Fort Worth 0.2/0
San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose 0.2/0
Washington, D.C. 0.1/0
Atlanta 0.7/1
Houston 0.3/1
Detroit 0.4/1
Seattle-Tacoma 0.9/2
Phoenix 0.4/1
Tampa-St. Pete 0.5/0
Minnesota-St. Paul 0.7/1
Miami-Ft. Lauderdale 0.5/1
Denver 0.3/1
Cleveland-Akron 1.1/2
Orlando-Daytona Beach 0.4/1
Sacramento-Stockton-Modesto 0.2/0
Compared to the previous ratings, they’re just about even and, really, just about what to expect. Again, be sure to watch Million Dollar Mind Game this Sunday at 4:00PM ET on ABC. A team goes extremely far and could win the million. It’s going to be very intense. Did you miss last week’s episode or want to see what the fuss is about? Here’s the episode, courtesy of the show’s producers. What do you think? Also, be sure to follow the show on Twitter to get more information about what to expect. Spread the word. I’d love to see it continue somewhere.

Shows how much confidence we have in the Browns…1.1 off the bat…then 2 as the team began to give that one away as well….I DVRit as I was at an improv workshop, but it’s a damn good show and a damn shame ABC decided to just burn it.
The second number is the share, not a separate rating
My bad….I just read/teach history and perform improv……don’t frequent those television numbers.
LaJuan….. the 2 is the share, not a “later rating”. Those numbers are rating/share. So, a 1.1 rating (which mean 1.1% of the total TV audience in town) and a 2 share (2% of the households with the TV on were watching).
But, it is interesting that Cleveland had such a high rating, although, was Cleveland the early game? Our ABC station shows the game show at 4pm, which would be after the early NFL games anyway.
Honestly, the ratings are not much worse than things like Arena Football and WNBA games that networks have had on weekend afternoons… but, it isn’t like you see those either on weekend afternoons anymore either.
My only other comment is…. I was able to answer every question before they did…. they didn’t seem that ‘tricky’.
It was, I saw the Browns game on my local CBS affiliate at 1:00pm.
Why does it seem like every game show with the words ‘Million Dollar’ in its title ends up having a short run before being cancelled?
Million Dollar Password
Million Dollar Money Drop
Million Dollar Mind Game
See a pattern here?
Yes.
They all have words with double letters?
Is “Million Dollar BuzzerBlog” that far behind to compete with the great site that is Buzzerblog?
Well, at least many of you got to watch it. Here it Little Rock, I set my DVR to record it, and when I finally sat down to watch it, it was “Paid Programming.” Thanks for posting this video because, quite frankly, this is a great show. Please post more, as I really don’t trust KATV to ever show an episode of it.
Here I was expecting all these questions to be impossible, yet I was pleasantly surprised that I got some of them (I got Fruit of the Loom as soon as the question was read). Very nice game, and Vernon Kay was perfect as host. Just wish they didn’t have him repeat everything (i.e., what the helps are, voting) after every question.
Hi all the Videogame Geeks are getting back together to livebog during the show today which airs out here in California in 45 minutes : ) feel free to tweet us @gordonbellamy
Gordon, is Frank still on speaking terms with you all???
I cannot believe that Frank cost the entire team $100,000 each because he figured he could get an extra $66,000 by going for the $1,000,000 question. Is that greedy or what?
