Promos for GSN’s “Late Night Liars”
The debut of GSN’s late night game show (with puppets) Late Night Liars is rapidly approaching. The Jim Henson Company game show debuts in just a few weeks…June 10th at 11:00PM ET. GSN has been airing some promos, showcasing the puppets, their personalities, and the host Larry Miller. Be sure to check out a few below. I can just sense some of the incredibly traditional fans having heart attacks, but I found them to be pretty funny. I especially loved the one with Larry Miller and The Weasel. I had some fears about this show to start. I think this is going to end up being very entertaining.
The show is getting an extensive rerun schedule as well. It will start Thursday, June 10th, and run at 11:00PM ET, 11:30PM ET, 2:00AM ET, and 2:30AM ET. It will next air on that Friday at 12:00AM ET and 12:30AM ET. Late Night Liars will air 3:00AM ET and 3:30AM ET on Saturday, and 11:00PM ET and 11:30PM ET on Sunday. You’ve got tons of chances to check it out.
And hey, while we’re on a Muppets kick, they just released a new viral video of my favorite, Sam the Eagle, doing a special karaoke version of American Woman.

Christ, this show's going to actually get me to turn on GSN for the first time since November, isn't it?
First off, I think Larry Miller is fantastic and damn funny. Second, this idea is so freaking crazy it just might work. I have no idea on the gameplay itself (it's probably been covered elsewhere and I've missed it) but if "Avenue Q" was able to be such a success with snarky foul-mouthed puppets, I guess this could be too.
The promos have my curiosity piqued. I will definitely be checking this out.
I think GSN is trying to gag the traditional game show fan. This is just another tasteless show from your friends at GSN. The promos aren't persuading me to watch one episode.
Well, I beg to differ. I like muppets/puppets(even if they're adult-minded), So, naturally putting this on late nights is pure genius on GSN's part. And Larry Miller better watch out if the Weasel tries to eat his hand., LOL!
The promos did the job for me. I wasn't planning on watching this at all, but I may actually give it a shot now.
BTW, thanks Alex for posting that Sam the Eagle vid…I'm a fan of his too.
So cranky aren't we? Seems to me GSN's audience doesn't care worth a damn if there's dirty humor. The Newlywed Game worked so LNL is definitely worth a chance. I'm diggin' it.
Who is the ball less jerk off who evidently caved to some blue nosed ass wipe and cut the
“cut “out of the promo?
