“Price is Right” Sued…Again

According to TMZ, yet another model, Brandi Cochran, is allegedly suing the show.  Click the link to read about it.  Producers at that time are being called out in this by TMZ, not Drew or any cast members, so don’t even start that.  And don’t go after Bob Barker either since that’s played out.  This freaking show gets sued so much I really don’t know what to think.

now was Barker fired or did he actually retire?

  • Alex Davis says:

Sorry, not trying to be rude but no direct finger-pointing or name calling about anyone there with this situation. All the comments are indexed on Google (check the privacy policy and stuff) and it can be linked back. Then you could get sued, I can get sued, and more. It's happened before and I don't want it to happen again. It's why I'm tightly moderating this one.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm rooting the model now that Bob Barker is not hosting Price is Right anymore.

Gwennie's still on the show, so how come they didn't fire her (not the I don't want her to deleted from the show)?

Here we go again, more drama from CBS' #1 real-life soap opera.

It seems like it's Brandi's turn to get fu*ked with, since she was wronfully harrassed by various co-workers about her appearance, her pregnancy, her weight, and her eating habits. And when Brandi told Kathy "Fingers" Grecko about her misscarriage from an earlier 2007 pregnancy that she had kept a secret, Grecko said it was "god's way of getting rid of a bad baby". Huh? And a former director, Bart Eskander, made commented on her pregnancy by saying "I thought so, I said either she got her tits done or she's pregnant". Also another model told Brandy "your boobs are huge!". And Mike Richards is really following his predecessor's footsteps and has a personal realationship with a certain model whom he spends large amounts of time with outside of work and gives her special treatment (i.e. booking her as a 4th model when only 3 are needed). And just so it's clear Shane and Gwendolyn also got harrased about being pregnant and Shane even lost her employment because of it.

I hope Brandi gets her role on TPIR back, or I'll kick Fremantle's friggin rear end!

Chester…I appreciate the kind comments…many thanks. Actually, the concept of the parting set design was first used on Mind Readers (Dick Martin) and, if I recall correctly , TTTT '80 (Robin Ward). Maybe Paul remembers more clearly. Anyway, Chester, thanks again

    You are absolutely right!

That's mainly why I don't buy this lawsuit. Gwen's still there! Not to mention her son Malloy was on just a couple of months or so ago. (And Drew's son Connor was on the show today!) The Spidey sense, it tingles.

Shane was fired along with Phire, Tamiko, Stephanie Schlund (who wasn't on much more than Shane was after she returned from mat-leave), and Gabrielle, because TPTB wanted to trim down the model rotation. It had sod-all to do with Shane becoming a mother. (Probably more to do with the fact Mike Richards was having an affair with a then-new younger, blonde model, whose name I needn't mention.)

Also: Gwen, as I've noted, recently had her son Malloy on the show. AND SHE'S STILL ON THE ROTATION. So why hasn't she left the show and sued? And why has nothing been heard about this from Shane, if the same thing happened to them that went down with Brandi? I'm sorry, but I have to call BS on this statement.

  • [...] least she’s not suing for the same reason past Price is Right model’s filed suit for. (Right link [...]
