I agree with Greg...it does look like The Winner's Board. I also thought of "Punch-A-Bunch" (also known as "The Punchboard") on TPIR...after winning punches, you just have to pick spots, and you win. Yes, you have to win the punches, but that's easy. The hard part is figuring out where to go on the board...and with $100,000 up for grabs, it makes that decision even more important.

I looked at the play-along game rules, and they're giving out over $200,000 in the 8 weeks it's planned for right now- 100 winners a day on weekdays and 10 winners on Saturday and Sunday at $50 a pop...which isn't bad for printing out a few cards.

The end game reminds me of the "Winner's Board" from Sale of the Century. In fact, I think it's a carbon copy! Very nice.

If Alex did work for GSN, he probably would've been fired a looooooooooooong time ago. :p

Anyway, Bingo America looks real good. Yes, the end game is rather lackluster, but the show has many more positives than negatives. I can't wait!

This show really looks better than HMIE, however I wont judge until I see it.

About u apologizing for your original HMIE review, no matter what you reply to I'll still read your reviews and come to the site, however you do work for GSN, right? If so, have you ever written a bad review for a GSN show? If you haven't, I completely understand because how could u tell people not to watch what you are indirecty putting on TV; thats like saying "Magic Putty: It doesn't work!" However, i'm just wondering ;)

I agree the bonus game really sounds awful, they could have easily used a "rejected" mini game from NBN, my idea would be have the contestant play against a section of the audience, only the numbers 1-50 are in play (in the interest of time) (B- 1-10, I- 11-20 etc.) and only numbers in that range appear on the cards in this round. if the contestant gets a bingo before either members of the audience do they win the prize (determined by a draw of a "prize ball" from a more regulation sized bingo hopper. if the contestant gets a bingo in 10 or less draws they win a $100,000 bonus. If someone in the audience gets one first, that person wins $1,000, (split if 2 or more people do so at the same time) one wrinkle i also added is if the contestant swept the main game (winning in 2 straight) one randomly chosen number on their card is marked for free.

I had another idea but I'm not saying because I wanna use it for a bingo game show I had in mind.
