“Press Your Luck”, “Family Feud”, and New “Price is Right” Games Coming for Nintendo Wii
I believe we have some video game fans around here. This information may make you happy. If you own a Nintendo Wii, you’ve got three game show video games to look forward to. We’ll start with the one people are most familiar with by now: The Price is Right. A very fun game has already been released for it, but it’s incredibly out of date. That’ll happen when a game is made in the middle of a transition period. The Price is Right 2010 will modernize some things which sorely need modernized, like the look of the game. Fans of the show will also be happy to know that new games are being added, like apparently the Safecrackers game. Look for it obviously in 2010. Or else the name of the game is a phony.
I have a feeling a lot of you will be more excited by the new Press Your Luck 2010 game. In this Nintendo Wii game, you’ll have the chance to face the big board and win money while avoiding the Whammies, just like the popular 80s show. It looks and plays like the classic version which is a relief to many fans. You even get Whammy animations, including some new ones. One of the pictures involves a Whammy beating the crap out of a bear. How’s that not fun or funny? We’ll get more information on the game as soon as we can.
The only thing we don’t have a lot of information on is Family Feud. I’d imagine they’d stick with the current look of the show, but I never know. I’ll keep looking for information. The Whammy kicking the bear is courtesy of Destructoid.
Which of the three games are you most looking forward to? I’m probably most excited for Press Your Luck. If nothing else it would make a fun drinking game.

Is it just the Wii, or will it cover the DS and PC platforms as well? I recalled seeing those releases as well (seeing how I have the other platforms)
According to the guy from Ludia who posts on the Site That Must Not Be Named, the titles are not Wii-exclusive.
And for the Feud, I hope they do what the PS3 did – have you be able to unlock all the various sets from the show's history.
that was the ps2 that had unlockable studios, but i'd buy all three because i love tpir to begin with the game is great and press your luck is long overdue for a good video game, and so is family feud
Also, it should be mentioned that these games are actually targeted for a September 2009 release according to JC_LUDIA on Golden-road.net
I think I read that they are shooting for a late September release.
this will be on the ds pc and wii
I wonder if this will lead to a Press Your Luck revival on television again?
Either way, it's pretty exciting that this game is coming out on home gaming consoles!
Big bucks! No whammies!!
How ironic for me to read this on the day that my Nintendo Wii appears to have died.
We’ve had lots of severe weather here in southwest Virginia lately, and lightning actually knocked my power out on Tuesday. Now my Nintendo Wii refuses to come on. The little light on the power button isn’t even on. I haven’t yet proven it, but I think the storms killed it (although it’s possible that they could have just killed a wire somewhere). Worse yet, I still have my Super Smash Bros. Brawl disc inside and can’t eject it!!! >_<
Lightning takes my Wii…but leaves my Nintendo 64 behind. Cue TPIR’s “double overbid” sound followed by the Losing Horns, the Family Feud strike sound, and the Cyndi Lauper Whammy.
This will totally make up for having no game show games realeased for the Gamecube. Hopefully each game will have unlockable videos to watch like the original TPIR.

It would be a lot funner if the bear was on a TRAMPOLINE! :P
I don't have a Wii, but since PYL 2010's comming to PC? I'll make that an early Christmas wish.
This has to make up for the atrocious DVD version.
what about PS3 IS IT COMING OUT FOR THIS SYSTEM PLEASE SAY YES… FAMILY FEUD WILL LOOK BETTER ON PS3.. PLAYSTATION NETWORK… TO PLAY ONLINE WITH OTHERS..
We need family feud on ps3 with steve harvey the hostess.
Actually, yes. All three games are coming to PS3, even though it has been months ahead of the other systems. TPiR is already on PlayStation Network for $9.99. Not sure when FF and PYL will be out for PS3, though.
