Pizza party at 33 on Saturday!

There will be pizza at the Bob Barker Studio on Saturday and if you’re reading this, you’re probably not invited. Sorry.

Drew Carey is having 45 pizzas delivered to CBS for the TPiR staff on Saturday…from Cleveland. The story is at Cleveland.com. For what it’s worth, my favorite pizza in Cleveland is from Zeppe’s, and I don’t say that because I was an employee of Zeppe’s from 1993 to 1994.

Sounds like Drew Carey knows how to appreciate his staff (unlike the former executive producer and host of the show!) No firings, no mud slinging, no egos, and food to boot - you can’t beat that!

Damion: Not only is it free pizza, it’s also pizza from the other side of the country! Can you imagine how much that has to cost? (Especially when you factor in the mega-high fuel prices)

Drew did not have to go to such expense for his staff. The fact that he wants to do this to show his appreciation is yet another reason why Carey is such an awesome dude.

Would Bob Barker even look at his staffers for longer than two minutes outside the show, let alone buy them food from thousands of miles away?

Once again, Drew Carey is the man.
