Picture and Small Audience Comment from Set of “Minute to Win It”

Here’s a quick Twitter picture Guy Fieri took on the set of his new NBC primetime game show Minute to Win It.  I’ve got some early audience reports in my inbox and from what I’m reading thus far the “household chore” element has been completely removed and it is a total copy of the great British game The Cube.  Be on the lookout for audience reports coming in shortly.  Here’s a picture.  You can click here for Guy’s Twitter page, and I’m sure you can guess where we are.

EDIT: For some reason the image works fine on Safari but doesn’t work on any other browser, linking from Twitpic.  So sucks for you Windows people.  Just click this link and a picture will be shown.

So, idk whether to be happy that they're using The Cube challenges on this show, or to still be miffed that they just didn't bring The Cube itself to the U.S. Well, I guess I'll make do with what we have.

I don't know about anyone else, but when I clicked on the box (which was completely black for me…and not a pic), I got an error message.

I think it's just The Cube without a glass box. not much of a loss.

I saw an article and the tasks discussed seem so easy lol. This could be better, just probably will muff vs The Amazing Race.

    Alex,

Before you mouth off about this show you should do your research. This game show is nothing like The Cube, except for the fact that contestants play games, not stunts. Most of your information above is completely wrong. This show is fun and Guy Fieri is the best game show host I have ever witnessed, and the best part about him is that he doesn't come off as a cheesy game show host like most. The show is NOT rigged in anyway. The female contestant was able to restart one game because of technical problem with the game props not working correctly. This is going to be one of the best shows to hit the air in years, I mean, the audience was out of their seats the entire time and grown men were shedding tears. I gotta give it up to your great inside Hollywood "reporting." Your parents should be proud!

I was in the audience for the last taping of the show yesterday. The show looks pretty cool. The enjoyment that you get out of it is due to the energy that the contestants and audience brings. We saw some great people compete yesterday and you really end up pulling for them. Plus the two helpers are extremely hot (one blonde with a great body and a Asian with a pretty face). Guy is a good host. I've seen a few of his things before but after this I will be following his career with hopes that he does well.Contrary to what they will tell you neither this or any other TV show (except maybe Jersey shore) will change your life. So just enjoy it for what it is, a distraction from your pathetic recession logged daily life. I give the show a season or 2 before the attention span of the country floats on to the next exciting flash in the pan crap that is fed to us through our television sets. Either way I will be watching for the pure vanity of seeing myself in the audience. Enjoy the show.

I've always been curious, what's it like working for NBC?
