Philadelphia’s Hannah Zickgraf Wins NVC

GSN has crowned the champion of Philadelphia’s “National Vocabulary Championship”, and it is 16 year old Hannah Zickgraf. She competed against 96 other high schoolers from the Phili area to take home the $5,000 grand prize and the chance at another $40,000 in the finals hosted by Dylan Lane in New York City. Mayor of Philadelphia John F. Street honored Zickgraf and other Phili NVC finalists in a special City Hall press conference yesterday. Zickgraf won the $5,000 by completing the final speedround in a quick 1:19. The New York finals for $40,000 will be on March 5, 2007. Already qualified is….
