“Opportunity Knocks” Cancelled

Hey, did you hear ABC’s awful Opportunity Knocks was cancelled?  What, basically no one cares?  Much like the rest of America then.  Sorry for no update yesterday; I was at a wedding.

Well, I care! I am very disappointed. My kids loved the show, and frankly I found it to be a lot of fun to watch.

Fear not true believers, JD Roth is not to blame and I am certain that he has the “Endurance” to continue on. :P

Decent concept….Horrendous Timing. (should’ve aired during the summer IMO)

I preferred “My Kind Of Town” a few years back, in this vein of shows.

But personally, I’m still pining for a new primetime show like Duel or Twentyone that has a competitive element to it. And although I watched Duel, it was certainly not without its flaws. But I want to see more in primetime with players competing against each other. And not for a million dollars in one show.

I always thought ABC was the wrong netwrok for it. I thought it would be a better fit for TLC or The Discovery Channel. Having been said, I thought it was an OK show.
